Doctoral-level training
Licensed clinical psychologist with advanced graduate and post-graduate training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy, attachment, ADHD, autism, burn out, depression, high-masking and atypical presentations of neurodivergence.
Depth, not breadth
Dr. Claney’s focused specialties allow for individualized, meaningful, and lasting change. She prioritizes long-term growth over surface-level solutions and specific feedback over generic strategies.
A collaborative pace
Pushing someone to move faster than they are capable of often leads to resistance rather than growth. Dr. Claney first seeks to understand where you’re at and how or why you’ve gotten there. Then, together you’ll work at a pace that feels intentionally challenging yet sustainable.
How to get started
Taking the first step can be hard. Here’s what to expect.

Two paths, both focused on understanding and change
Individual Therapy
Together, you and Dr. Claney will explore the underlying patterns that shape your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. As these patterns become clearer, new ways of relating to yourself and others can emerge, creating opportunities for greater flexibility, fulfillment, and emotional well-being. Dr. Claney integrates attachment-based, psychodynamic, and parts-work approaches with executive functioning support and skills-based strategies.
